Watch: The PM shouts, “Beta, Neeche Aao,” as a Telangana woman ascends a tower during his rally.
A woman scaled a light tower at Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Telangana event on Saturday in an attempt to attract his attention and discuss her problems with him. Prime Minister Narendra Modi saw the woman and asked her to come down immediately from the structure.
The woman is seen climbing the tall building in a video released by the news agency ANI. Prime Minister Modi tells her to come down right away, citing the possibility of a short circuit caused by malfunctioning wiring.
Come on, beta, neeche aao. We’re on your side. The state of this cable is not good. A short circuit might occur. None of this will be advantageous. I’ve come to get you. From the stage, Modi said to the woman, “I will listen to you.
Later, after receiving guarantees from the prime minister that her concerns would be taken care of, the woman consented and moved down.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated in a gathering organized by the Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi in Secunderabad. The Madiga community, a significant segment of scheduled castes in Telugu states, was the focus of his address. During the rally, he expressed that the Telangana government had let down the Madiga community over the past decade, apologizing for the perceived neglect by other political parties.
Additionally, PM Modi pledged to establish a committee aimed at empowering the Madigas, making this commitment during the event. Notably, this rally marked Modi’s second consecutive appearance in the city since the announcement of the election notification on November 3.
On November 7, the Prime Minister had addressed another rally, the “BC Atma Gourava Sabha” (Backwards classes self-respect meeting), at the LB Stadium. During this event, he assured that if the BJP secured victory in the November 30 Assembly elections, a chief minister from the Backwards Classes (BC) community would be appointed in Telangana.
