Revanth Reddy Unveils #InvestInTelangana Initiative at World Economic Forum in Davos
On Tuesday, the Telangana government inaugurated the “#InvestInTelangana” initiative during the World Economic Forum (WEF), signaling a concerted effort to draw global investments. Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, leading the Telangana delegation alongside IT and Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu, actively participated in pivotal meetings with representatives of internationally recognized companies.
During the initial day, the Telangana delegation engaged in crucial discussions with prominent industrialists, highlighting the state’s compelling attributes as a significant center for IT and biomedical sciences. The objective is to attract substantial investments, and these interactions took place at Davos as part of the ongoing World Economic Forum. The campaign underscores Telangana’s commitment to positioning itself as an attractive destination for global investments, fostering economic growth and development in the region.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, during his visit to Davos, engaged in discussions with WEF President Borg Brende, organizers, and other dignitaries to explore investment opportunities in Telangana. The conversations centered around government priorities, the newly established State government, and potential collaborations between governments, industrialists, and business stakeholders to elevate living standards and achieve sustainable development.
Additionally, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy had talks on industrial development with Ethiopia’s Deputy Prime Minister Demek Hasento, providing insights into the Telangana government’s chosen route map.
The Telangana delegation, led by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Minister Sridhar Babu, held discussions with NASSCOM President Debjani Ghosh. The focus was on skill development in the State, contemplating future strategies for enhancing skills, ensuring placement commitments, and creating valuable employment opportunities for engineering and degree students.
As the 54th annual WEF conference unfolds in Davos, Switzerland, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Minister Sridhar Babu received a warm welcome from NRI dignitaries. The Chief Minister reiterated their dedication to inclusive and balanced development efforts for the overall progress of all citizens.
