PM Modi to Inaugurate Projects Worth Over Rs 24,000 Cr in Telangana and Odisha Today
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will continue his 10-day tour across 12 states and union territories on the second day. He will attend various events and unveil several projects in Sangareddy, Telangana, before delivering a public speech. After that, he will visit Odisha to inaugurate multiple development projects in Chandikhole, Jajpur, and later travel to West Bengal.
PM Modi will be in Telangana’s Sangareddy to launch and lay the foundation for development projects worth over Rs 6,800 crores. These projects cover various important sectors such as road, rail, petroleum, and natural gas.
The Prime Minister will kick off three National Highway projects, including a four-lane stretch of NH-161 from Kandi to Ramsanpalle, which is part of the Indore-Hyderabad Economic Corridor. This project will facilitate smoother transportation of passengers and freight between Telangana, Maharashtra, and Madhya Pradesh, reducing travel time between Hyderabad and Nanded by about three hours.
Additionally, PM Modi will visit the Sri Ujjaini Mahakali Temple to offer prayers and inaugurate the Civil Aviation Research Organisation (CARO) facility in Hyderabad, aimed at enhancing civil aviation research and development.
Furthermore, he will launch the first MMTS train service from Ghatkesar to Lingampalli via Moula Ali and Sanathnagar, expanding the suburban rail service in the Hyderabad-Secunderabad area to new destinations.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Odisha on March 5, where he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for various development projects valued at over Rs 19,600 crore in Chandikhole. These projects span across sectors such as oil and gas, railways, roads, transportation, highways, and atomic energy.
The visit coincides with the birth anniversary of former Chief Minister Biju Patnaik and amidst increased calls from the ruling BJD for him to be posthumously awarded the Bharat Ratna.
During his visit, PM Modi will launch several key initiatives, including the Indian Oil Corporation’s mono ethylene glycol project at the Paradip Refinery, which aims to reduce India’s reliance on imports. He will also inaugurate a 344-kilometer-long product pipeline connecting Paradip in Odisha to Haldia in West Bengal and a 0.6 million metric tons per annum LPG import plant in Paradip.
Additionally, the Prime Minister will dedicate newly constructed four-lane highways and lay the foundation for expanding the Chandikhole-Paradip Section to eight lanes. He will also inaugurate the 162-kilometer Bansapani-Daitari-Tomka-Jakhapura rail line, aimed at enhancing transportation efficiency for iron and manganese ore in the region.
