PM Modi to Inaugurate Major Development Initiatives in Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra Today: Full Agenda
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is concluding a two-day visit to Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Maharashtra, during which he is inaugurating and laying the foundation stones for various development projects.
In Kerala, Modi inaugurated three space infrastructure projects at the Vikram Sarabhai Space Center in Thiruvananthapuram and reviewed the Gaganyaan Mission’s progress.
In Tamil Nadu, he participated in a program in Madurai focusing on digital mobility for automotive MSME entrepreneurs. He will then inaugurate projects worth approximately ₹17,300 crore in Thoothukudi, including the Outer Harbor Container Terminal and Green Hydrogen Hub Port initiatives.
In Maharashtra, Modi will inaugurate projects valued at over ₹4,900 crore in Yavatmal. These include releasing funds for farmers under PM-KISAN and Namo Shetkari MahaSanman Nidhi, distributing funds to women’s self-help groups, launching housing schemes, and initiating irrigation and rail projects. He will also inaugurate road strengthening projects and unveil a statue of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay in Yavatmal city.
