KTR explains why Telangana requires KCR to persist in power.

The message is crystal clear: Telangana’s progress, carefully nurtured over the past decade, could be jeopardized if hollow promises and fake assurances take precedence over the development efforts spearheaded by K Chandrashekhar Rao, as emphasized by BRS working president and Minister KT Rama Rao.

As Telangana gears up for the upcoming November 30 elections, Rama Rao appeals to voters to consider their choices thoughtfully. He asserts the crucial importance of K Chandrashekhar Rao’s continued leadership as the Chief Minister, highlighting that any other scenario could negatively impact farmers, especially if Congress leaders opt for a five-hour power supply model akin to Karnataka instead of Telangana’s robust 24-hour system. Furthermore, the youth population would face substantial setbacks.

Rama Rao urges voters to reflect on the achievements of the BRS government, which has created more than 1.6 lakh government jobs, with an additional 40,000 positions in the selection process. Telangana’s track record in job creation outshines other states, including surpassing Bengaluru in the tech sector over the last two years.

He points out that Telangana is making remarkable progress in various fields and emphasizes that halting this progress would be detrimental, especially for the youth. Attracting investments and generating employment is a challenging endeavor, and the success achieved so far is attributed to effective leadership and stable governance.

Rama Rao underscores the importance of women voters making informed choices, as the healthcare and education sectors have witnessed significant improvements, and drinking water issues have been resolved. He suggests that opting for a change at this juncture would carry risks for Telangana.

He also mentions the establishment of a medical college in every district and the accessibility of healthcare services through Basti Dawakhanas and Palle Dawakhanas, making healthcare accessible to all. He cautions against introducing obstacles during a period of smooth progress, acknowledging that the BRS government doesn’t expect to stay in power indefinitely.

He emphasizes that no political party can hold on to power permanently, and the people’s well-being should be the priority when electing leaders, in line with the views of former IAS officer Jayaprakash Narayan.

Rama Rao discusses political psychological operations (psy-ops) and claims that both the Congress and BJP are united in their desire to limit Chandrashekhar Rao’s influence to Telangana. He suggests that this alignment is driven by their reluctance to see the emergence of a third national leader. Their strategy is to keep the political battle confined to a contest between the Congress and BJP.

Rama Rao further alleges that the Congress and BJP are working together to defeat Chandrashekhar Rao in the elections or at least reduce his majority. He emphasizes that if the BRS secures over 80 seats, it could have a significant impact on the Lok Sabha polls in Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, and Karnataka, and leaders from Maharashtra would likely seek Chandrashekhar Rao’s support, to the detriment of both the Congress and BJP.
