Addressing a road show in Peddamallareddy, BRS working president KT Rama Rao accused the Congress of attempting to undermine the prosperity of farmers in Telangana. He highlighted the Congress party’s failure to fulfill its promise of six hours of power supply made before the 2014 elections, contrasting it with the current administration’s success in providing uninterrupted power to farmers.

Rama Rao challenged TPCC president A Revanth Reddy’s claims that farmers were not receiving 24-hour power supply, inviting him to personally verify the situation in any village. He emphasized the positive impact of the Rythu Bandhu scheme, dismissing calls from Congress leaders to scrap it and highlighting plans to increase financial assistance under the scheme in the next term.

Refuting the Congress’s demands to reinstate the Patwari system and abolish the Dharani portal, Rama Rao questioned the wisdom of returning to outdated practices. He announced upcoming welfare schemes for women, including the provision of domestic gas cylinders at Rs.400 and an increase in pension amounts to Rs.5,000.

Rama Rao underscored the commitment of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao to the development and welfare of Telangana, contrasting it with the purported lack of commitment from Rahul Gandhi and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He urged the electorate to choose the Chief Minister with a record majority in the upcoming elections after December 3.
