Another sailor, who had been on the hijacked vessel and was saved by the Indian Navy off the coast of Somalia, expressed pride in the Navy’s actions. In response to a distress call involving a cargo ship with 21 crew members, including 15 Indians, the Navy swiftly deployed a warship, maritime patrol aircraft, helicopters, and Predator MQ9B drones.

The Indian Naval forces are actively investigating other suspected vessels in the area, as stated by the Navy.
