Harish Rao accuses Congress of suppressing Opposition in the Assembly.

Harish Rao, speaking to journalists following Tuesday’s session, emphasized the importance of allowing the Opposition to express its views in a democratic system, highlighting that this fundamental principle was disregarded within the legislative assembly.

BRS leader and former Minister T Harish Rao expressed on Tuesday that the primary opposition party, BRS, was not given a chance to address the Assembly, and when BRS members attempted to speak up, they were refused access to the microphone. Harish Rao, speaking to the media after Tuesday’s session, emphasized the importance of allowing the Opposition to voice its opinions in a democratic setting, which he felt was disregarded in the House. The session, which began at 10 am, was adjourned in less than an hour to take legislators from all parties to the Medigadda Barrage. Despite making repeated efforts, Harish Rao was not given an opportunity to speak.
