Pallavi Prashanth Emerges Victorious in Bigg Boss Telugu 7; Fans Target Amardeep’s Car in Celebration
Sunday’s grand finale of Bigg Boss Telugu Season 7 was marked by more behind-the-scenes drama than what unfolded on the screen.
On Sunday, the much-anticipated conclusion of Bigg Boss Telugu season 7, hosted by Nagarjuna, unfolded. Before the premiere, information surfaced that Pallavi Prashanth, a ‘common man’ entrant, emerged victorious with the Bigg Boss trophy. As tradition dictates, eager fans gathered at Annapurna Studios, where the finale took place, eagerly awaiting the emergence of contestants. However, this year saw an unfortunate turn of events as individuals purporting to be supporters of the proclaimed winner attacked the cars of some contestants.
Social media recently circulated videos that raised concerns among fans of contestants. Despite the presence of police protection at the studios, some individuals targeted the cars of the contestants. Amardeep, the season’s runner-up who lost to Pallavi, and his family attempted to request safe passage, but these individuals not only attacked his car, where his family was present but also vandalized the rear window before they could leave. Shockingly, they also targeted the window panes of other former contestants’ cars and even an RTC bus, according to reports from Gulte.
Amardeep remained unfazed despite the distressing incident. Later that night, he joyously celebrated with his fans, cutting a cake, dancing to dhol music, and energizing the crowd. Expressing gratitude, he acknowledged the unexpected journey in the competition and thanked everyone for their votes. He was particularly excited about meeting Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja.
Meanwhile, former contestants Ashwini and Geetu Royal, who were also present at the grand finale, faced a similar ordeal. Their cars were vandalized by individuals claiming to be Pallavi’s fans. Both Ashwini and Geetu filed complaints at the Jubilee Hills police station.
Ashwini, eliminated from the show three weeks ago, shared with iDream Media, “Following the finale, we were informed about a mob outside. We waited for hours for the crowd to disperse, but it was so large that even the police struggled to control it. I put in a lot of effort to purchase my car, and it’s disheartening that it was vandalized.”
Geetu, a participant in Bigg Boss Telugu season 6, expressed to the same YouTube channel at Madhapur station, “It’s inaccurate to label these individuals as Pallavi’s fans because genuine fans don’t exhibit such behavior. When I tried to reason with them not to damage the car, they physically pulled my hands. It was highly inappropriate behavior. I’m still repaying my car’s EMI, and the incident almost brought me to tears.”
Pallavi emerged victorious with the highest number of votes, securing a cash prize of ₹35 lakh. Hailing from a village in Telangana and coming from a farming background, Pallavi triumphed in a fierce competition, outperforming contestants such as Amardeep, Arjun Ambati, Priyanka Jain, Sivaji, and Prince Yawar, ultimately claiming the coveted trophy.
