Pro-Palestinian demonstrators storm the US Capitol and declare a “ceasefire now.”

As Israel continues to remain in a standoff with Palestinian Hamas militants, support from around the world has been flooding in. A joint statement reiterating their “steadfast and united support” for Israel was released on Tuesday by the leaders of the unwavering States, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, and Italy.

In a joint statement, Presidents Biden of the United States, Chancellor Scholz of Germany, Prime Minister Meloni of Italy, Prime Minister Sunak of the United Kingdom, and President Macron of France expressed their “unwavering condemnation of Hamas and its heinous acts of terrorism” and their “steadfast and united support to the State of Israel.”

Abu Ubaida, a spokesman for the Hamas military, issued a threat that if there is an unexpected attack on civilians in the Gaza Strip, Hamas militants will kill an Israeli civilian captive.

He declared that for each surprise Israeli attack of a residential home, Hamas would execute one Israeli prisoner and publicize the event.
