KTR introduces the Chief Minister’s Breakfast Program for pupils in public schools.

Hyderabad: On Friday, IT Minister KT Rama Rao officially unveiled the State government’s innovative Chief Minister’s Breakfast Scheme at Government High School for Girls in West Marredpally.
Rama Rao welcomed the students and joined them in the dining hall for breakfast. Idli with sambar, puri and alu kurma, upma and chutney, and kesari dessert were all on the first morning menu.
Rama Rao praised the meal for being wholesome and instructed the kids to contact officials if they did not receive food that matched the menu after reading out the day’s breakfast menu.
The GHMC Commissioner Ronald Rose was given instructions by Rama Rao, who is also the MA&UD Minister, to make sure that quality is upheld and food samples are regularly inspected. He also requested input from the lecturers.
Additionally, the breakfast program was introduced at one school in each assembly district. The initiative was started at ZPHS Raviryal in the Ranga Reddy district by Finance Minister T Harish Rao and Education Minister P Sabitha Indra Reddy. The program will be extended to all schools following the Dasara break.
